The Alliance for Intellectual Freedom is a grassroots movement. Many individuals support intellectual freedom. They are individually fighting across the country to uphold their rights against governmental usurpation. No one called them to undertake this task. No one could persuade them not to fight this battle. They are fighting for liberty -- the right to teach their children without governmental interference.

If you support intellectual freedom and the elimination of governmental interference in education, perhaps you'd consider using the logo above on your website. There are no rules or bylaws to follow to become part of this Alliance. All that is needed is the willingness to support the unalienable rights of conscience of all parents to raise and educate their children as they see fit -- without governmental involvement.

E-mail me and I'll send you the AFIE logo file (the blue banner at the top of this page) and put your website on a growing list of Alliance websites. Feel free to list other Alliance websites supporting intellectual freedom on your website.

The logo needn't be place at the top of the home page on a website. It can be located anywhere on the site that you determine appropriate. There are no rules and no bylaws. The Alliance is a loosely aligned network of individuals who are willing to stand up for intellectual freedom.

Our hope is that by means of this network we can help others understand the importance of intellectual freedom.

Men had better be without education than be educated by their rulers.
